RW Equine Vet is an RCVS accredited, independent, family run practice that was set up in March 2018 by husband and wife team Reuben & Sarah Whittaker. We are passionate about providing excellent customer service and skilled vets that are friendly and really care. We undertake pre-purchase vettings, lameness investigations, vaccinations, routine dental maintenance and surgery, scanning, fertility issues, x-rays and much more besides.

We bring you cutting edge diagnosis and treatment services using the latest equipment. Our fully equipped and mobile surgery will be brought to your yard, and any needs which cannot be dealt with on site can be brought to our practice or will be referred to local specialist equine hospitals.

We have the facility for you to bring your horse to our surgery, based at our home. Here we can deal with problematic tooth removals, kissing spine surgery, eye clinics, lameness workups and many other procedures.

Mindful that it is often a costly exercise to find out what is wrong with your horse and identify a suitable treatment, our aim is to sensitively evaluate what you want for your horse and advise accordingly.
